Angelfish Therapy's Swim Whisperers hands-on workshop is designed for swim instructors, parents, swim school directors, PE teachers, fitness instructors, or anybody faced with a child or children who experience little to no success with traditional teaching methods — in particular, those with mild to severe sensory issues, problems with motor skills, difficulty processing information, attention issues, or any other condition that might physically or psychologically impede the process of learning to swim.
In some cases, the obstacle may be something as simple as a child who is unwilling to put their head under water, or who is terrified to let go of the side of the pool. Our experienced instructors have seen it all, and will share with you the innovative, therapy-based techniques needed to turn kids into confident and independent swimmers in less time than you thought possible.
