Event Description

Tired of using the same old straight plane arm and leg exercises? Want to challenge yourself daily? This class focuses exclusively on neuro diagnoses including CVA, spinal cord injury, brain injury, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and diabetic neuropathy. It provides a wide foundational base for therapists who work with adult or pediatric clients with neuro-related disorders.

More importantly, it sparks the imagination and shows therapists how to progress from simple head and trunk righting tasks to much more challenging opportunities for their patients. Therapists will learn new stretches, central stabilization tasks, tone reducing strategies, gait training skills, proprioceptive drills, and tips for increasing weight on hemiparetic limbs (throw out the weights!). Leave with new life breathed into your pool repertoire.
