Comment by Chris Griffith on July 11, 2011 at 1:18pm Hey guys. I'm wrapping up the editing of the first real world lifeguards videos. So far I've recorded one and we have one lifeguard submission. The videos have covered everything from why lifeguarding is important to a sales pitch for a used drum set. This is what the real life of guards is like.
Note:
All of these videos are and should be made while not on guard duty. Pool Safety comes first!

Nobody comments on the physical punishment the body takes in just the training alone for beach lifeguards, just like firefighters. They put their bodies through a lot of physical abuse so that they are readily fit to rescue someone when needed, and deserve to be well compensated for it!
