Networking is one of the best parts of the conference. I love hearing about what other states are doing to prevent drownings, and sharing the successes & challenges back home. It's going to be a great conference!

Comment by Lisa Phillips on September 9, 2011 at 3:55am You should post the info that CPSC just emailed out, your report on Summer 2011 U.S. Drowning Snapshot. It's great that Mick Nelson is gathering that info, to give us all an idea of where things stand, rather than waiting two to three years for the official stats to be released!
Bottom line is, we all need to do more to help prevent drownings!! More education is needed on swim lessons, pool barriers, and water safety in general!
