42 veteran Lifeguards from over ten agencies participated in the CPRS District II TOTAL Guard workshop on Saturday, it was a great group of young people all with three or more years experience and from multiple certifying agencies. Special thanks to our newest trainer, Brian Albright of Austin, Texas.

As we await the results of our request to NSPF for funding that would allow TAM, in a project lead by Chris Chamberlain of Cal State East Bay, to try and ascertain persoanlity traits of great guards that could be used in pre-employment screening or other ways.

That being said, what do you feel are some traits that your best lifeguards possess?

You're doing good work Jim! I'm not sure I know of another individual with as much passion for Aquatics as you have. Keep it going buddy!
