"I like Vinyl coated cloth. Whatever we get we attach it to plactic coated cable with small palstic ties to prevent sagging and keep taut which keeps them from taking a beating in the wind."

The pool I manage is an outdoor pool, in Southern Texas where the sun and elements really take a toll on our equipment. I am looking to replace our backstroke flags right now and could use a little input on what materials will hold up the longest. It looks as though Vinyl Coated Polyester may be the most durable, but pictures can lie. Some of my options also include Vinyl Coated Nylon, Vinyl, Nylon or Plasti-cloth.
