Pete DeQuincy recently conducted an in-service training for the City of Benicia lifeguards. He did a training for us last year as well, so when the staff heard he would be back they were very excited.  He delivered another great training!  He began with the most basic skill of applying on gloves and added one element at a time until the guards built up to recognizing a victim in the water, performing a rescue and extraction, applying gloves and performing CPR or other appropriate after care.  He conducted approximately 45 drills in a two hour time period.  The training was intense, action packed, efficient and extremely effective.  Great job Pete, thanks so much!  My staff loved the training!  I look forward to having Pete back again next summer.

Jill and Jennie,

Thank you for your kind comments. It's always a great privilege to work with your lifeguards.

I also had Pete come out this summer and do a training with my staff. He was a great change of pace to our normal Friday staff meetings and lead an intense and educational training! Thanks Pete!
